Data Entry Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to support our telecalling team by preparing accurate insurance quotations and managing customer data. The role requires good typing speed, strong language skills, and basic knowledge of insurance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare motor insurance quotations for telecalling executives based in Odisha and Mumbai.
2. Enter and update customer, vehicle, and policy details accurately in insurance portals and internal systems.
3. Coordinate with telecalling staff to understand customer requirements and make quotation revisions when required.
4. Maintain daily records of quotations, follow-ups, and insurer responses.
5. Verify premium calculations, add-on covers, policy terms, and ensure error-free entries.
6. Share quotations and related information with telecallers through email or WhatsApp.
7. Handle basic written communication in English and Hindi for internal and customer-related purposes.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer data and follow company data protection guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hindi language proficiency is mandatory; English reading and writing skills are required.
• Good typing speed with high accuracy.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email, WhatsApp, insurance portals).
• Ability to understand instructions and work with deadlines.
• Attention to detail and organized working style.

Experience

• Fresher or candidates with experience in data entry or insurance back-office work can apply.
• Prior experience in motor insurance or insurance quotations will be an added advantage.
