Our leading client is a US major diversified Industrial Company and its Metals and Mineral Division is a technology partner to the global steel energy and railway sector across 32 countries.

Educational Qualifications:

1)    Bachelor of Engineering

2)    Full time 1 year Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt of India Recognized Institute,

3)    NEBOSH IGC

4)    Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001

Experience: Must have minimum 3 years as EHS officer.

Job Responsibilities:

1)    Facilitate in establishing Safety and Health requirements at workplace.

2)    Ensure implementation of EHS Management system/ Operating Standards.

3)    Guide EHS policy, performance standards and criteria in consultation with management

4)    Monitor and report EHS performance

5)    Develop, implement and support HSE improvement strategies

6)    Provide professional support and expert advice in relevant areas

7)    Conduct/arrange EHS educational, training and support programs

8)    Conduct EHS inspections/Audit and report to Management.

9)    Identify, analyse and report potential HSE difficulties to management

10) Maintain an excellent information resource in EHS and produce effective statistical information

11) EHS performance reporting - internal and external

12) Ensure incident reporting and investigation of incidents 

13) Conduct Risk Assessment for activities undertaken at site.

14) Monitor compliance of EHS legal requirements and advise management.

15) Advise on and plan for changes to legislation and external standards

16) Organize EHS promotional activities to promote EHS culture.
