Job Description:-

Ensure strict adherence to Mines Act, Electricity Rules and Central Electricity Authority (CEA) Regulations.

Supervise the installations, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, earthing and motors.

Monitor power distribution systems up to 11KV ensuring minimal downtown and maximum efficiency.

Regularly test and inspect high voltage equipment for insulation resistance, earth fault conditions and load balancing.

Ensure timely testing of protective relays, circuit breakers and other safety devices.

Maintain logs of electric load, outages, inspection results and safety audits.

Train and guide electricians and helpers on electrical safety and standard operating procedures.
