Objective of the Role

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating revenue through direct customer engagement and field-based sales activities. The role focuses on identifying new clients, maintaining strong customer relationships, increasing brand visibility, and achieving assigned sales targets within the Bhubaneswar region.

Daily Responsibilities


Task Description

Customer Visit Conduct regular visits to existing and potential customers as per the planned route.

Lead Generation Identify,approach, and qualify new business opportunities through field visits, references, and local networking.

Product Demonstrations Present and explain interior design solutions, services, and 3D design concepts to potential clients.

Follow-ups Follow up on quotations, proposals, and ongoing inquiries to ensure timely conversions.

Order Collection Secure project confirmations and ensure proper documentation and payment coordination.

Reporting Submit daily activity reports covering visits made, leads generated, deals closed, and client feedback.

Display & Material Check Ensure marketing materials or display items are updated and well-presented when required.

Customer Feedback Collect an report client insights, satisfaction levels, and improvement suggestions.





Weekly Responsibilities


Task Description


Sales Review Meetings Attend weekly meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and territory development.

Route Planning Strategically plan weekly routes to optimize visits and increase client coverage.

Prospecting Research and add new potential leads from the local market into the sales funnel.

Sales Funnel Review Track leads through various sales stages and address gaps or delays.

Competitor Monitoring Observe and report competitor activities, offers, and pricing trends.

Skill Development Participate in short sales and product training sessions for continuous improvement.





Monthly Responsibilities

Target Achievement Review   Assess monthly sales performance against defined KPIs and revenue goals.

Market Analysis Report          Prepare reports summarizing customer trends, competitor analysis, and field insights.

Client Account Review            Review key clients for satisfaction, growth opportunities, and feedback.

Sales Forecasting                    Collaborate with management to predict future sales and pipeline strength.

Expense Reconciliation          Submit monthly travel and field expense statements for approval.

CRM Update                             Maintain accurate and updated records of all client interactions and leads.

Territory Assessment             Analyze existing territory performance and suggest strategies for higher penetration.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduation or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in field sales, client acquisition, or business development (experience in interior design, modular furniture, or building materials preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan routes, manage time efficiently, and work independently.
  • Good knowledge of Bhubaneswar market and local customer behavior.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory on a daily basis.
