Hotel Receptionist

The Hotel Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the hotel. This role ensures smooth functioning of front desk, housekeeping, guest services, staff supervision, billing, and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety, hygiene, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Manage daily hotel operations

- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out

- Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk

- Ensure rooms are clean, ready, and maintained

Guest Handling

- Handle guest queries and complaints

- Ensure guest satisfaction

- Collect feedback and reviews

- Maintain guest ID verification records

Staff Management

- Supervise hotel staff

- Assign daily shifts and duties

- Ensure staff discipline and grooming

- Train staff on hotel policies and service standards

Billing & Revenue Management

- Monitor room bookings and occupancy

- Ensure correct billing and payment collection

- Manage cash and online transactions

- Coordinate with OTAs such as Booking.com and OYO

Compliance & Safety

- Maintain police verification and guest registers

- Ensure safety and security procedures

- Monitor CCTV and emergency protocols

Marketing & Online Presence

- Support hotel promotions and offers

- Assist in managing Google Business Profile

- Encourage guests to leave reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred

- Good communication skills (English, Hindi, Odia)

- Basic computer and billing knowledge

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

- Honest and customer-focused attitude

Working Hours

- Full-time role

- Shift-based or flexible working hours
