Responsibilities:

• · Development: Design, code, test, and debug custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces (RFCs), and forms (SmartForms, SAPscript).

  · Enhancements: Implement enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and workflows.

  · Performance Tuning: Optimize program and SQL performance, resolve bottlenecks, and tune complex functions

  · Support: Provide operational support, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve defects (bugs).

  · Collaboration: Work with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs.

  · Testing: Perform unit testing, support integration testing (SIT), and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  · Documentation: Create and maintain technical specifications and documentation.

  · Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, adhere to SAP standards, and follow coding best practices.

  · Essential Skills & Qualifications · Proficiency in ABAP programming, ABAP Objects (OO ABAP).

  · Understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM) and SAP architecture.

  · Experience with tools like SAPGUI, Debugger, ABAP Workbench, SE38, SE80, etc..

  · Knowledge of data dictionary, performance optimization, and debugging.

  · Familiarity with SAP transport management (TMS) and OSS note procedures.

  · Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
