Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.
Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Good to have skills : PostgreSQL Administration

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Primary Skill: Oracle Database Administrator ( 6-8 years) Secondary Skill: PostgreSQL Database Administrator/MSSQL Database Administraton ( 2-3 years relevant) Job Responsibilities: Database Installation & Configuration - Install and configure Oracle Database (versions 11g, 12c, 19c, etc.) - Set up Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard for high availability. Database Maintenance - Perform regular backups using RMAN. - Restore and recover databases. - Monitor database performance and perform tuning (SQL, memory, I/O, etc.) Security Management - Manage users, roles, and privileges. - Implement database encryption and auditing. Patch Management - Apply Oracle patches and perform database upgrades/migrations. Performance Tuning - Analyze and optimize queries. - Use AWR, ASH, ADDM, and other Oracle diagnostic tools Monitoring & Alerts - Set up and manage tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Nagios, or custom scripts for monitoring Disaster Recovery - Design and implement backup/recovery strategies. - Manage DR drills and documentation Automation & Scripting - Write shell, Python, or PL/SQL scripts for automation of tasks. Collaboration - Work with developers, system admins, and network engineers to ensure smooth operations. Technical experience: - Must have Oracle database admin skill and knowledge. - Good to have any other RDBMS PGSQL/MSSQL dba skill. - Ready to learn multiple RDBMS skill and deliver. - Knowledge of OCI/GCP is advantage Professional Attributes: - Must have knowledge on incident management tool. - Good Communication skill - Must be ready for 24*7 project - rotational shift Educational qualification: B.Tech/B.E.
