Project Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Solar EPC to lead and execute PM Surya Ghar (Residential Rooftop Solar) projects across Odisha. The role involves end-to-end project management—from site survey and DISCOM coordination to installation, commissioning, and subsidy documentation—ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This position requires strong ground-level execution capability, deep understanding of MNRE & DISCOM processes, and hands-on coordination with vendors, installers, and inspectors.

• Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution & PlanningPlan, execute, and monitor PM Surya Ghar rooftop solar projects (1–10 kW) across Odisha.
• Prepare and track project schedules, installation plans, and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per MNRE/DISCOM guidelines.
• 2. Site Survey & Technical OversightOversee site surveys, shadow analysis, roof feasibility, and system sizing.
• Validate technical designs, SLDs, layouts, and BOQs before execution.
• Ensure correct selection and installation of modules, inverters, structures, and BOS.
• 3. Vendor & Team CoordinationCoordinate with installation teams, electricians, civil teams, and supervisors.
• Manage vendors for modules, inverters, MMS, cables, and logistics.
• Ensure manpower availability and productivity across multiple sites.
• 4. DISCOM & Regulatory CoordinationLiaise with Odisha DISCOMs (TPCODL, TPNODL, TPWODL, TPSODL) for:

• Net-meter applications
• Site inspections
• Meter installation
• Commissioning approvals
• Ensure compliance with MNRE, CEA, and DISCOM technical norms.
• 5. Quality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and best EPC practices.
• Conduct periodic site inspections and quality checks.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
• 6. Customer & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the single point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Address customer queries, concerns, and handover documentation.
• Ensure smooth coordination between sales, execution, and finance teams.
• 7. Documentation & Subsidy SupportOversee preparation and submission of:

• Installation reports
• Commissioning certificates
• Net-metering documents
• Subsidy claim documentation on PM Surya Ghar portal
• Ensure accurate and timely subsidy processing.
• 8. Reporting & MISPrepare daily/weekly project progress reports.
• Track installations, commissioning status, and pending approvals.
• Maintain MIS dashboards for management review.
• Required QualificationsB.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy
• Certification in Solar PV (preferred)
• Valid driving license (field travel required)
• Experience Requirements3–7 years of experience in Solar EPC project management
• Minimum 1–2 years hands-on experience with PM Surya Ghar / residential rooftop solar
• Proven experience working with DISCOMs in Odisha (highly preferred)
• Technical Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of:
