Job Description: Construction Project Manager Position

Overview :- The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to successful completion. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Project Planning:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Establish clear milestones and deliverables to guide project execution.
• Budget & Cost Management:
• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets.
• Ensure financial discipline and adherence to approved cost structures.
• Contract Administration:
• Negotiate, draft, and oversee contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and disputes are resolved promptly.
• Quality Assurance & Control:
• Implement quality control measures to meet agreed specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain excellence.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary project teams.
• Foster a collaborative environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management:
• Present complex project updates to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain transparent communication channels with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress to proactively address challenges.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety across all project activities.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for reference and audit purposes.
• Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience (8–15 years) managing large-scale construction projects.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
• Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
