We are expanding our institutional partnerships program to bring job-ready hybrid training directly to colleges and institutes across Tier-2 and 3 India.
Role Summary
We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Regional Sales Manager to own and grow Rooman's institutional footprint in Bhubaneswar. You will be the face of Rooman in your territory — building MoUs with engineering colleges, BCA/BSc institutions, and small computer training institutes, and converting these partnerships into student enrollments for Rooman's hybrid courses.
This is a high-ownership, high-reward field role best suited for someone who is locally rooted, socially active, and knows how the education ecosystem in their city works.
What You Will Do
- Institutional Outreach & Partnerships
- Identify, approach and sign MoU agreements with engineering colleges, BCA/BSc colleges, polytechnics, and arts & science colleges in your territory
- Build relationships with Principals, HODs, Training & Placement Officers, and Career Development Cell (CDC) coordinators
- Onboard small computer training institutes as Rooman hybrid delivery partners
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and demo sessions on campus (AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Digital Skills)
- Represent Rooman at education fairs, college events, and institutional meetings
- Student Enrollment & Revenue
- Drive student enrollments through institutional channels and meet monthly targets
- Coordinate with college partners on batch scheduling, student communication, and course delivery support
- Track and report weekly pipeline: prospects contacted, meetings done, MoUs signed, enrollments confirmed
- Territory Management
- Maintain a live territory database of all colleges and institutes (mapped, visited, status tracked)
- Build and nurture long-term relationships for repeat batches and referrals
- Submit weekly activity reports to the reporting manager

Who We Are Looking For
Must Have:
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales — preferably in EdTech, IT training, education products, or institutional B2B sales
- Proven ability to independently close deals and manage a territory
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills in local language + Hindi/English
- Must be a resident of Bhubaneswar or willing to relocate permanently — local network is essential
- Own a two-wheeler and a smartphone (travel reimbursement provided)
Good to Have:
- Existing contacts with college principals, TPOs, or CDC heads in the region
- Basic understanding of IT courses — Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networking, AI (training will be provided)
- Experience handling MoU/agreement-based institutional deals

- Fixed Salary ₹25,000 – ₹40,000/month (based on experience)
