Job Description

Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be the face of ML Roy And Sanitations Ltd in the market, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with architects & interior designers.

Field Sales & Business Development

●    Execute the daily sales plan by visiting architects, interior designers & project sites within the assigned territory.

●    Prospect and develop new business relationships to expand the active customer base and increase market share.

●    Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent field activity and pipeline management.

Lead Generation & Conversion

●    Generate leads through field visits, referrals, cold calls, and participation in trade events or exhibitions.

●    Follow up diligently on enquiries and quotations to ensure timely conversion within the sales cycle.

●    Provide accurate product specifications, pricing, and delivery information to prospective customers.

Order Management & Collections

●    Book orders accurately in coordination with the internal sales support and logistics team.

●    Assist in payment follow-ups and support the collection of outstanding dues from assigned accounts as per company policy.

●    Report supply shortages, delivery concerns, or product feedback promptly to the Sales Manager.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

●    Submit daily call reports, weekly activity summaries, and monthly sales achievement reports to the reporting manager.

●    Provide competitor pricing and product feedback, market intelligence, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

●    1 to 5 years of hands-on field sales experience; candidates from sanitaryware, tiles, paints, are strongly preferred.

●    Freshers with a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in field sales are encouraged to apply.

●    Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving licence and a personal two-wheeler is mandatory for field mobility.

●    Sound knowledge of the local geography and market landscape of Bhubaneswar.

Competencies & Skills

●    Energetic, persuasive, and self-driven with a hunger to achieve and exceed targets.

●    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers and trade partners.

●    Good numerical ability for quick calculation of pricing, margins, and discounts in the field.

●    Basic proficiency in MS Office applications and willingness to adapt to CRM or mobile-based reporting tools.

●    Fluency in Oriya ,English & Hindi.

●    High integrity, reliability, and a customer-first mindset.
