Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Senior Sales Engineer at Millennium Instruments Limited (MIEPL), located in the Greater Delhi Area (HO). The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical sales support and managing the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to order processing. The role requires strong expertise in handling quotations, coordinating with clients, and managing tender-related activities, including searching, bidding, and documentation.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating with internal teams for smooth order execution, and ensuring timely follow-ups to achieve sales targets. The Inside Sales Engineer will work closely with the field sales team and management to drive business growth while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-up and outbound cold calls, Social media(Linked-in) and emails
2. Understand customer requirements,
3. Send Introduction emails to prospective customer with credentials.
4. Submit Sales offers/Proposals and respond to Techno Commercial queries
5. Route qualified enquiries to the appropriate sales executives. Territories where sales executives are not present are to be dealt directly by Inside Sales
6. Close sales and achieve Monthly targets
7. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest from prospective customers
8. Maintain and expand your database of prospective customers within your assigned territory
9. Team with channel partners/Dealers to build sales pipeline and close orders
10. Perform effective online demos to prospective customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive product knowledge and effectively present key features and benefits to potential clients.
2. Customize solutions based on client needs, assist to prepare detailed proposals, and technical documentation.
3. Deliver impactful product demonstrations and technical presentations.
4. Provide prompt and effective responses to customer inquiries, maintaining high service standards.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to strategically position to all our products in the market.
6. Establish and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
7. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
8. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
9. Follow up on payment collections and assist in resolving any client complaints.
10. Leverage existing connections with end customers, EPCs, and Valve OEMs in key markets including Chemical and Pharma, Sugar and Distillery, Paper, Oil and Gas, and Thermal Power.
Qualifications:
· Technical Support and Communication skills, Sales skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients
· Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
