Job Description
- Operations ManagementManage day-to-day store operations (opening/closing, workflow, scheduling)
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning, pressing, and packaging of garments
- Monitor equipment usage, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Staff ManagementHire, train, schedule, and supervise staff
- Assign duties and monitor performance
- Enforce workplace policies and service standards
- Handle staff issues and resolve conflicts
- Customer ServiceGreet customers and handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Ensure accurate order intake, tagging, and delivery
- Maintain high service quality and turnaround times
- Build customer loyalty and retention
- Inventory & SuppliesManage inventory of cleaning chemicals, packaging materials, and supplies
- Place orders and control costs
- Prevent waste and loss
- Financial ResponsibilitiesHandle cash, POS systems, and daily sales reports
- Monitor expenses and support profitability goals
- Assist with pricing, promotions, and discounts
- Quality ControlInspect finished garments for cleanliness and damage
- Ensure proper stain treatment and fabric care
- Minimize reworks, losses, and customer complaints
- Required Skills & QualificationsExperience in laundry, dry cleaning, retail, or service management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer-service oriented mindset
- Basic knowledge of fabrics, stains, and garment care (preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer/POS and cash-handling skills
- Working ConditionsStanding for long periods
- Exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals
- Weekend or extended hours may be required
