Job Description
- Food Preparation: Marinating meats, vegetables, and seafood; preparing dough for naan; chopping ingredients.
- Cooking: Operating and maintaining the tandoor oven; cooking tandoori dishes (chicken, lamb, breads) to recipe standards.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining a spotless workstation, tandoor, and kitchen; adhering to all food safety & health regulations.
- Inventory: Monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and reporting shortages.
- Support: Assisting the Chef de Partie (CDP) or Sous Chef; prepping for service (mise en place).
- Quality Control: Ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation of dishes.
