Job Title: Unix Admin

Experience Required: 4 to 8 Years

Location: Bhubaneswar

Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems running on the Unix operating system, ensuring optimal performance, security, and system availability by managing software updates, user accounts, system backups, and resolving technical issues related to the Unix environment.

Required Skills:

·         Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting:Strong understanding of shell scripting languages like Bash to automate tasks and manage system configurations

·         Unix System Administration Expertise:In-depth knowledge of Unix commands, system architecture, and core concepts like file systems, processes, and network protocols

·         Networking Fundamentals:Understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting

·         Security Best Practices:Familiarity with security concepts like user authentication, access control, encryption, and vulnerability management

·         Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
