Job Description
- Supervise on-site solar installation activities (modules, structures, cabling, inverters, etc.)
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and schedules
- Coordinate daily tasks with technicians, contractors, and subcontractors
- Monitor site progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) rules on site
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE
- Inspect materials, tools, and workmanship to maintain quality standards
- Resolve on-site issues and escalate technical or safety concerns when required
- Maintain site records, attendance, and basic documentation
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in solar PV installation or construction projects
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and site execution
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety and construction standards
- Ability to read drawings and technical documents
- Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Preferred Skills Experience with utility-scale or rooftop solar projects
- Familiarity with local electrical and safety regulations
- Ability to manage labor and meet project deadlines
- Working Conditions Field-based role at project sites
- May require working long hours or weekends during peak project phases
- Exposure to outdoor conditions
