Responsibilities

The CSR Manager will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and managing sustainable social initiatives that align with Adani’s corporate values and national priorities. Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute comprehensive CSR strategies tailored to the power sector’s social and environmental impact. Integrate CSR objectives with business goals to foster sustainable growth and community development.
• Program Development: Identify critical areas for intervention such as education, healthcare, livelihood enhancement, environmental conservation, and renewable energy adoption in power-impacted communities. Design scalable programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, government agencies, NGOs, and other key stakeholders. Facilitate dialogue and partnerships that leverage collective resources for greater social impact.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all CSR activities comply with legal regulations, Adani’s internal policies, and industry best practices. Prepare detailed reports on program progress, impact assessment, and financial expenditures for internal review and statutory reporting.
• Community Empowerment: Champion initiatives that empower local populations through skill development, awareness campaigns, and capacity building, fostering self-reliance and long-term social resilience.
• Impact Assessment and Continuous Improvement: Employ qualitative and quantitative methods to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness. Use insights gained to refine CSR strategies and maximize social return on investment.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal departments such as Sustainability, Communications, and Operations to ensure CSR integration across business units.
• Budget Management: Oversee CSR budgets ensuring optimal utilization of resources in alignment with organizational priorities and project goals.
• Advocacy and Representation: Represent Adani at industry forums, CSR conferences, and community meetings to advocate best practices, share success stories, and enhance the company’s reputation as a responsible corporate citizen.
• Innovation and Digital Enablement: Explore and implement innovative technologies and digital tools to improve CSR program delivery, engagement, and transparency.

Qualifications

5 to 11 years of proven experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, preferably within the power or energy sector, demonstrating hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring CSR initiatives at a regional or national level.
