Job Description
- Supervise installation of solar PV modules, structures, inverters, HT/LT panels, and cabling
- Manage site manpower, subcontractors, and daily task assignments
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and SOPs
- Monitor progress and submit daily/weekly site reports
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and conduct toolbox talks
- Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and client representatives
- Maintain site documentation such as DPRs, material logs, and work permits
- Ensure quality control and resolve site-level technical issues
- Plan material requirements and control wastage
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover
- Coordinate MV-related works including transformers, RMUs, switchgear, and cable terminations
- Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in solar project execution
- Knowledge of MV systems (11kV / 22kV / 33kV), transformers, and switchgear
- Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
- Good communication, team-handling, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of site safety standards and quality procedures
- Experience in testing and commissioning activities
