Site Engineer

Job Title: Site Engineer Department- Infra Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and supervise all types of precast concrete work at the site, including layout, foundation, lifting, positioning, jointing, and finishing.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of precast elements (compound walls, Paver Blocks, drains, U-Trenches, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, jointing, and grouting during precast component installation.
• Take accurate site measurements and prepare reports/documentation for material estimation and billing purposes.
• Possess sound knowledge of civil and structural drawings, and interpret them correctly for execution.
• Coordinate daily with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams for seamless work flow.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless communication and resolution of site issues.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project standards.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports (DPRs) and submit updates to the management.
• Ensure availability and proper use of materials, machinery, and manpower.
• Conduct technical supervision and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Support procurement team in estimating material quantities and validating contractor bills based on site work.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with all statutory and company safety regulations.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 1–5 years in civil site execution, preferably in precast construction
• Strong knowledge of precast execution processes – casting, curing, handling, and erection
• Basic technical understanding of concrete strength, alignment, levels, and reinforcement
• Ability to read civil and structural drawings (plan, section, elevation)
• Experience in labour management and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of construction safety norms and on-site issue handling
• Good communication and reporting skills
