Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Operate CNC Turning / VMC / HMC machines.
- Load and unload hot forged components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Perform tool setting and basic offset corrections.
- Monitor machining parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut).
- Inspect parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge).
- Maintain production records.
- Follow safety and 5S standards.
- Inform supervisor in case of machine breakdown or quality issues.
- 🔹 Required Skills:Knowledge of CNC machine operation.
- Understanding of tolerances & GD&T basics.
- Basic knowledge of tools and inserts.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of raw material used in forging industry.
- 🔹 Qualification:ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years experience in CNC machining (Forging industry preferred).
- Key Responsibilities:Create CNC programs using Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls.
- Develop machining process for forged components.
- Select cutting tools and fixtures.
- Set tools and offsets on CNC machines.
- Optimize cycle time and improve productivity.
- Troubleshoot machining issues.
- Ensure quality compliance as per drawing.
- Support operators in technical issues.
- Maintain program backups and documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality & Maintenance team.
- 🔹 Required Skills:Strong knowledge of G-Code & M-Code.
- Experience in Fanuc / Siemens control.
- Knowledge of process planning for forged components.
- Understanding of cutting tools & tool life management.
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerances.
- Ability to reduce rejection and improve efficiency.
- 🔹 Qualification:Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–8 years experience in CNC programming & setting (Hot forging industry preferred).
