Role Summary:

We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations at our client's Villa at Agonda beach. The role involves menu planning, staff supervision, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional culinary experiences.


Job Description – Executive Chef

Property Location: Agonda, South Goa

Department: Kitchen / Culinary

Reporting To: Property Manager / General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute menus tailored to villa-style hospitality.
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage staff effectively.
  • Ensure high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and comply with FSSAI food safety norms.
  • Manage inventory, vendor coordination, purchasing, and cost control.
  • Train and mentor kitchen team members.
  • Coordinate private dining, events, and special requests.
  • Oversee kitchen equipment upkeep and maintenance.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively.
  • Additional skills in Food & Beverage and Stewarding preferred.

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years of culinary experience in hotels, villas, or restaurants.
  • Expertise in multi-cuisine (Indian, Continental, Asian, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and cost control.

Qualification:

  • Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
