Job Description

The role involves handling complete accounting, taxation, and compliance for export–import transactions.

The candidate will ensure accurate recording of financial data, adherence to GST, TDS, and customs regulations, and timely coordination with banks and authorities for export–import documentation.


Key Responsibilities:


Maintain day-to-day accounting of export and import transactions in ERP / accounting software.


Handle export invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and customs documentation.


Ensure timely realization of export proceeds and reconciliation of export incentives (RoDTEP / RoSCTL).


Manage import documentation, including bill of entry, supplier invoices, and foreign payments.


Handle GST on exports & imports, LUT filing, refund applications, and compliance with FEMA.


Prepare and review TDS, GST returns, and other statutory filings.


Coordinate with banks for LC, BG, and foreign remittance documentation.


Assist in month-end closing, financial statements, and audit support.


Maintain and verify vendor and customer ledgers; ensure timely reconciliation.


Support in cost analysis and MIS reporting for management.



Required Qualifications and Skills:


CA Inter qualified (both groups or at least one group cleared).


Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in export–import companies.


Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Customs procedures, and foreign trade policies.


Proficiency in Tally / SAP / Align Books / any ERP system.


Good command of MS Excel and report preparation.


Strong communication and coordination skills.

Experience in Advance Authorisation / EPCG / Export incentives.


Understanding of banking documents ( LC and foreign currency accounting.
