Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Preparation of BIW target sign off ( 1D PIST, 3D PIST, Nova B / Nova C). Providing Manufacturing feasibility report for each data release.
Studying past projects Quality & Preparation of BIW Quality target for sign off.
Providing Manufacturing feasibility report for each data release to ensure manufacturability & product quality & consistency.
Defining Datums for all BIW panels / Sub assembly as well as design gap requirement.
Working knowledge of stack ups calculation for critical items (Seats fitment, Cradle, IP, etc.), CPQ (styling) feedback on product design.
Preparation of PFMEA/Control Plan document. Preparing of each MPDS Gateway audit.
DTS document of Gap and flush for Vehicle level (Nominal) to Styling and PD.
Arriving out special tolerances and GD&T for all points
Checking fixture methodology of Body (All incoming) & Vehicle critical parts.
Clamping plan preparation for each station.
Action plan to reach Quality targets (Nova B, 1D/3D PIST, Nova P, Nova C).
Appearance quality inspection for panel to BIW to Vehicle level (meeting with styling/marketing to have final sign off.
Welding fixture approval (DAP & MAP buyoff - M1, M2 & M3) as per Geometry standard
Proving out VP0/VP/PP/SOP Quality.
BIW & Vehicle Build & Fitment Concern Analysis & Resolution.
Preparation of dimensional issues during BIW TTO and perform RCA, organize team meeting for all concerns until closure.
Detailed list of Quality Tools and items (for the Quality WBS.
Tracking of Budget Vs actual for each item. Selection of suppliers for Quality gauges and fixtures

General Experience

3 to 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Assembly, Production Quality.
