Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Manufacturing Strategy & Planning

• Support the Platform Manufacturing Head with inputs for business case development and manufacturing strategy formulation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PPH, PFH, CPH) to assist in make vs buy decisions.
• Facilitate interactions between CME COE and manufacturing planning teams to promote flexibility and cost efficiency.

Product & Process Development

• Coordinate with CME to gather manufacturing feasibility requirements and relay them to PEH for system-level drills.
• Contribute to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews by aligning inputs with process capability, cost feasibility, and investment needs.
• Assist in finalizing RFQs, SoRs, and engineering drawings incorporating manufacturing perspectives.
• Participate in BEC (Base Engineering Contents) reduction initiatives and process simplification.

Program Build & Delivery

• Act as key interface for manufacturing activities of vehicle/aggregates/PTD.
• Coordinate on-site build activities, ensuring part availability and gateway readiness in alignment with PPH.
• Monitor execution of FTG elements including plant infrastructure and facility readiness.
• Support proto builds with a focus on plant production alignment.
• Facilitate installation, commissioning, and milestone tracking of manufacturing systems.

Target Achievement & Governance

• Help align and track Manufacturing TCP targets with plant manufacturing teams.
• Track quality indicators across builds and escalate deviations.
• Collaborate on cost tracking for process and product delivery targets.
• Ensure project documentation (ROCM, signoffs) is completed in time, especially during scope or engineering changes.
• Support budget monitoring and timely handover to the launch team.
