Quality Engineer – Supplier Quality

• You are deputed as a Quality Engineer at one of our renowned customer end which is a Multinational Tier organization engaged in producing parts for Automotive and off-roader Industry
• Your primary job is to carry out Quality Inspection of Newly Developed Parts (NPD) by doing Supplier Quality
• Your job is to ensure that all the parameters and dimensions on the part meet the mentioned standards, tolerances in the drawing
• Escalate any out of specification parameter to the customer, halt the production in case needed
• You have excellent knowledge of drawing reading, Ballooning and instruments selection
• You have basic knowledge of CMM programming and report evaluation
• You have good knowledge of Quality Management Systems followed by the Automotive Industry
• You have good knowledge of Casting, Forging and very good knowledge of Machining processes

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare inspection plan, Ballooning in drawing, define measurement method and instruments required
• Carry out LAYOUT inspection of New Development Parts 
• Prepare inspection reports as per designated formats
• Coordinate with Production department to arrange parts for inspection, further coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth information flow about outcomes of the Layout inspection
• Participate in the CFT and escalate all the issues in timely manner!
• Take necessary corrective and preventive actions
