Quality Control Inspector

📌 Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 6 months – 2 years (Freshers can also apply)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspection of components as per drawings and quality standards
• Check dimensions using instruments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge
• Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
• Identify and report defects / non-conformities in products
• Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality documents
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality plans, and ISO standards
• Support root cause analysis & corrective actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate with production & quality teams for issue resolution
• Ensure proper tool calibration and usage
• Follow safety, 5S, and company policies

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of quality inspection tools & techniques
• Basic understanding of mechanical components & manufacturing processes
• Ability to use measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, gauges)
• Good observation & attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports)
• Knowledge of ISO / Quality standards is an added advantage

Eligibility:

• ITI (Fitter / Turner / Machinist) OR
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in automotive / manufacturing industry preferred
