Quality Supervisor

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee inspection activities and ensure that products meet required quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for supervising quality inspectors, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality systems in the automotive manufacturing environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and guide the Quality Inspection team on the shop floor.
• Ensure visual inspection and dimensional inspection of automotive components as per standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Monitor and ensure proper use of measuring instruments and gauges.
• Conduct and review NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities where required.
• Maintain and verify quality documentation, inspection reports, and records.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, quality standards, and process requirements.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality problems.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
• Required Skills (Must Have)Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Experience in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and gauges
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes
• Experience in quality documentation and reporting
• Preferred / Optional SkillsKnowledge of MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
• Experience in Gauge Calibration
• Understanding of basic quality tools (7 QC tools)
• Additional AdvantagesExperience in automotive manufacturing or assembly environment
• Experience in team supervision and shop floor quality management
• EducationDiploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience3 – 6 years of experience in Quality Inspection / Quality Supervision in manufacturing or automotive industry.
