Job Title: Department Incharge / Textile Incharge (Retail)

Location: Panchkula / Himachal Pradesh (HP)

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary:-

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Department Incharge / Textile Incharge to manage departmental operations, ensure effective merchandising, and drive sales performance. The candidate should have strong knowledge of FMCG/retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory control.

Role & ResponsibilitiesDepartment & Store Operations

• Manage end-to-end operations of the assigned department (Textile/FMCG)
• Ensure proper product display as per VM guidelines and planograms
• Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and product availability

Sales & Business Growth

• Drive department sales and achieve assigned targets
• Implement marketing strategies and promotions to enhance sales
• Monitor product movement and optimize category performance

Inventory Management

• Ensure proper stock rotation following FIFO (First In First Out)
• Maintain accurate stock levels and coordinate replenishment
• Conduct regular stock audits and minimize discrepancies

Shrinkage & Loss Control

• Control shrinkage including wastage, damages, theft, and rat cutting
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food & non-food items
• Implement loss prevention practices and compliance

Customer Handling & Experience

• Ensure excellent customer service and product assistance
• Handle customer queries and complaints effectively
• Enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Preferred Candidate ProfileGraduate in any discipline
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail/FMCG/textile segment
• Strong knowledge of VM, planograms, FIFO, and merchandising
• Experience in handling food & non-food categories
• Good understanding of shrinkage control and stock management
• Strong communication and team handling skills
• Candidates from V-Mart, Reliance Retail, Vishal Mega Mart, etc. preferred retail store .
