Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC milling machines (3/4/5 axis) as per approved programs and drawings
- Load, unload, and set up jobs with correct fixtures, tools, and offsets
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets
- Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
- Perform in-process inspection using vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, etc.
- Identify tool wear/breakage and replace tools as per SOP
- Maintain machine cleanliness, daily checklists, and basic preventive maintenance
- Follow ISO, GMP, and medical device manufacturing standards
- Reduce rejection, improve cycle time, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with production, QC, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
