Job Description

Job Summary:

The PCD Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing the company's PCD / franchise network across assigned territories. The role involves appointing new distributors, maintaining strong relationships with existing franchise partners, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand the PCD franchise network in assigned regions.
  • Identify and appoint new distributors / franchise partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing PCD distributors to increase business volume.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through the franchise channel.
  • Handle inquiries generated through digital marketing, websites, and other lead sources.
  • Guide franchise partners regarding product range, promotional materials, and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, accounts, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product demand.
  • Resolve distributor queries, complaints, and order issues.
  • Maintain proper records of leads, appointments, and sales performance.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress and territory development.

Required Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of PCD pharma business model
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to generate and convert franchise leads
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical products and market trends
  • Basic computer skills (CRM, Excel, email handling)

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred)

Experience :

  • 2–6 years of experience in PCD pharma sales or franchise development
  • Experience in handling pharma distributors / franchise networks
