Power Press Brake Operator

We are looking for a Power Press Operator to work on our Amada Press Brake Machine (HRB1003)

Key Job Responsibilities –

• Operate Amada HRB1003 hydraulic press brake to bend sheet metal parts as per drawings and job cards.
• Select, install, and set up correct punches and dies as per tooling instructions.
• Load / recall bending programs on the controller and set parameters like back gauge, bend angle, and stroke depth.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and follow bend sequence correctly.
• Perform first-piece inspection, check bend angle and dimensions using measuring tools (Vernier, protractor, etc.).
• Maintain required part quality and minimize rework, rejection, and material wastage.
• Handle sheet loading/unloading safely; coordinate with helper for material movement and stacking.
• Fill daily production and quality check reports accurately.
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating the machine and use proper PPE.
• Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and free from obstruction.
• Do basic daily maintenance checks (cleaning, visual checks, lubrication points) and report any breakdown/abnormal sound/alarms to supervisor or maintenance team.
• Support in new job trials and continuous improvement activities in the press brake section.
• Ability to work in shifts and meet daily production targets.
