Role OverviewEkam Energy is seeking a technically strong and customer-oriented Solar Engineer to design, execute, and manage solar power projects. The role includes system design, site execution, and direct interaction with customers to explain solar solutions, installation processes, and technical benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid) based on site requirements.
2. Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and load analysis.
3. Visit customers to explain solar system working, installation process, technical specifications, ROI, and benefits.
4. Provide technical presentations and support the sales team during client meetings.
5. Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and project proposals.
6. Perform shadow analysis, cable sizing, inverter selection, and system optimization.
7. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects.
8. Ensure compliance with safety standards and DISCOM/net-metering regulations.
9. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
10. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-installation technical support.
11. Maintain proper project documentation and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in solar or electrical projects can apply.
• Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical components.
• Ability to confidently explain technical concepts to customers.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and system design tools.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
