Visa Counsellor

Job Summary: The Immigration Counsellor provides expert guidance and support to clients seeking immigration, study, or work opportunities abroad. The role involves assessing client eligibility, explaining visa options and procedures, preparing documentation, and ensuring applications comply with relevant immigration laws and policies. The counsellor serves as the main point of contact for clients throughout the immigration process, maintaining a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations to understand clients’ background, goals, and immigration needs.
• Advise clients on suitable visa categories, immigration pathways, and documentation requirements.
• Evaluate eligibility for various visa programs (e.g., student, skilled worker, family sponsorship, permanent residency).
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate application forms and supporting documents.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, policy changes, and country-specific regulations.
• Communicate with embassies, consulates, and government departments regarding application status and requirements.
• Assist clients in interview preparation, medicals, and other procedural steps.
• Maintain detailed client records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Provide excellent client service through timely follow-up, status updates, and problem resolution.
• Support marketing and outreach initiatives such as seminars, workshops, or information sessions.
