Accountant

Job Summary

An Accountant Executive is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, preparing financial reports, and supporting the company’s financial decision-making process. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

*Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports

*Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

*Handle general ledger entries and bank reconciliations

*Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

*Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements

*Prepare and file tax returns (GST, VAT, income tax, etc.)

*Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting

*Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes

*Maintain financial records and documentation

*Support management with financial analysis and reporting

Required Qualifications

*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

*Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is an advantage

*0-6 months of relevant accounting experience

*Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally)

*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

*Understanding of financial regulations and tax laws
