Job SummaryAn Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, maintaining accounts, and ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with regulations.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain Financial Records

• Record daily financial transactions.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.

1. Accounts Management

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Track company expenses and income.

1. Billing & Invoicing
2. 
   

• Prepare invoices and bills for customers.
• Follow up on outstanding payments.

1. Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

1. Bank Reconciliation
2. 
   

• Reconcile bank statements with company accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and financial activities.

1. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist management in financial planning and budgeting.

1. Payroll Management

• Process employee salaries.
• Maintain payroll records and statutory deductions.

1. Audit Support

• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Knowledge of GST and taxation.
• QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting (preferred).
• Working ConditionsFull-time office job.
• May require meeting deadlines during financial closing periods.
