Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Daily Data Entry (Core Responsibility)Enter daily sales data (Zomato / Swiggy / offline orders)
- Enter cash, UPI, card, and aggregator settlements
- Maintain daily expense entries (vegetables, groceries, packaging, fuel, misc.)
- Record supplier bills and purchase invoices
- 2. Stock & Inventory SupportEnter raw material purchases and quantities
- Maintain daily stock inward & outward records
- Update closing stock data as shared by kitchen/operations
- Highlight mismatches in:
- Purchased quantity vs usage
- Stock available vs expected stock
- 3. Food Costing SupportEnter ingredient-level data for selected menu items
- Assist in maintaining basic recipe costing sheets
- Update price changes of raw materials when required
- 4. Reconciliation SupportHelp prepare data for:
- Daily sales vs payment received
- Weekly expense summaries
- Monthly vendor payment lists
- Flag missing bills, unmatched payments, or data gaps
- 5. Records & FilingMaintain digital folders for:
- Bills
- Expense proofs
- Sales reports
- Ensure data is dated, labeled, and traceable
- Tools You Will Work WithExcel / Google Sheets
- Basic accounting or tracking formats (no advanced software initially)
- WhatsApp / email for bill collection and confirmations
(Training on formats will be provided)
- Skills RequiredStrong attention to detail
- Comfortable with numbers and repetition
- Basic Excel knowledge (sum, filters, simple sheets)
- Ability to follow formats exactly
- Willingness to ask questions if data is unclear
- Preferred (Not Mandatory)Experience in food business / restaurant / cloud kitchen
- Exposure to stock or expense tracking
- Interest in learning food costing & basic accounting
