Job Description

📌 Business Development Executive (BDE) -Business Development Executive primarily a front-line sales and customer acquisition role focused on expanding the bank’s customer base and promoting its financial products. This position is usually field-oriented, involving local travel and direct interaction with potential customers.

  • 🔍 Key Responsibilities🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Customer Acquisition & Relationship Building Actively identify and engage potential customers in the assigned area.
  • Open new bank accounts and acquire new to Bank customers.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to deepen the bank’s reach.
  • 📈 Sales & Product Promotion Promote and sell a range products including:
  • • Savings and Current Accounts
  • • Term Deposits
  • • Debit/Credit Cards
  • • Third-party or investment products (insurance, mutual funds, etc.)
  • Understand customer financial needs and recommend suitable banking products.
  • Cross-sell additional financial products to existing customers.
  • 📊 Targets & Reporting Meet individual and team sales targets for product sales and customer acquisitions.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, interactions, and sales in the bank’s CRM system.
  • Report performance and field activity updates to the Branch Sales Manager or reporting authority.
  • 🧾 Compliance & Documentation Ensure all activities comply with banking norms, KYC (Know Your Customer) and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Handle proper documentation for new accounts and other financial products.
  • 🏃 Field Work & Travel This is typically a field sales job, requiring travel within the local city or region.
  • Must be willing to interact face-to-face with customers regularly.
