We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a patient-centred practice committed to providing high-quality dental care in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Preparing patients for dental procedures.
• Taking and recording patient medical and dental histories.
• Providing chair-side assistance to the dentist during various procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, root canals).
• Anticipating the dentist's needs and passing instruments and materials efficiently.
• Providing patient education on oral hygiene, and treatment plans.
• Ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
• Sterilization and Infection Control:
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Maintaining a clean and organized treatment room.
• Adhering to all infection control guidelines.
• Laboratory Duties:
• Preparing materials for dental procedures (e.g., cements, composites).
• Administrative Tasks (May vary depending on clinic size):
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Managing patient records and charts.
• Maintaining dental supplies and inventory.
• Communicating with patients regarding appointments.
• Other Duties:
• Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning and maintaining the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum 8th or 10th grade
• Age: 18+ Years
• Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
