Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring
-Manage full-cycle recruitment for factory, warehouse, sales, and office roles: planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer, and onboarding.
-Coordinate with HODs for timely closures and maintain talent pipeline, especially for technical and shop-floor positions.
Attendance Management & Audit
-Monitor and audit attendance through Biometric System, Salary Portal entries, and WFH daily task acknowledgments.
-Validate WFH attendance based on submitted/acknowledged daily work updates.
-Conduct regular audits, resolve discrepancies, and take corrective actions.
Payroll Management
-Handle complete monthly payroll processing via Salary Portal (salary, variables, shift allowances, deductions, statutory contributions - PF, ESI, TDS, PT).
-Ensure accurate and timely disbursement; resolve employee queries promptly.
Performance Management
-Assist in setting/tracking KPIs, conducting appraisals, and calibration.
-Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement plans.
Employee Training & Development
-Identify training needs through appraisals and HOD feedback, especially for technical, safety, and product knowledge (including AKAI brand training).
-Organize induction, skill development, on-the-job training, and mandatory compliance trainings (POSH, Factory Safety, etc.).
-Maintain training calendar, records, feedback, and effectiveness reports.
Incentive & Travel Allowance Audit
-Audit incentive calculations (production/sales targets) and travel claims as per policy using Salary Portal data and supporting documents.
-Verify accuracy, ensure compliance, and suggest process improvements.
Documentation & Record Management
-Maintain properly indexed employee files (physical & digital) including all HR records, training certificates, etc.
-Ensure easy retrieval and adherence to retention policy.
Statutory Compliances
-Ensure all HR processes comply with labour laws relevant to manufacturing units (Factories Act, etc.); maintain required registers and returns.
-Prepare for audits and liaise with authorities.
Communication & Notifications
-Send timely updates, reminders, and announcements via official emails and HR chat groups (WhatsApp/Teams).
-Communicate attendance issues, payroll status, training schedules, policy changes, shift rosters, etc.
Required Skills:
-Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliances, with exposure to manufacturing sector regulations.
-Hands-on experience with Biometric Attendance, Salary Portal, Excel, and HRIS tools.
-Excellent auditing, analytical, and communication skills.
-High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and data analysis.
