Job Description

  • Implement and monitor Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) programs as per NABH standards.
  • Develop, review, and update infection control policies, SOPs, and manuals.
  • Conduct Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) and gap analysis for accreditation readiness.
  • Perform surveillance of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) and analyse infection trends.
  • Ensure compliance with biomedical waste management (BMW), CSSD, housekeeping, and laundry protocols.
  • Coordinate with Infection Control Committee (ICC) meetings and maintain documentation.
  • Train hospital staff (clinical & non-clinical) on infection control practices and NABH requirements.
  • Support hospitals during internal audits, mock drills, and external accreditation assessments.
  • Assist in preparation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain records related to infection control indicators, audits, and reports.
  • Coordinate with quality managers and consultants for overall accreditation compliance.
