Job Description

Customer Coordinator plays a key role in managing customer interactions and internal coordination. This position involves engaging with customers, capturing and updating requirements in the CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups, and coordinating closely with sales, operations, and business leadership to ensure smooth execution of customer requests.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via calls, emails, and chat to understand their basic requirements
  • Collect and verify customer contact details and requirement information
  • Accurately enter and update customer data, interactions, and remarks in the CRM as per defined SOPs
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with customers to progress leads and close pending actions
  • Respond to customer chats and queries in a professional and prompt manner
  • Coordinate internally with Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth handover and execution
  • Review internal comments and instructions mentioned in the CRM and take appropriate actions
  • Ensure all customer-related information is updated in real time and maintained accurately
  • Prepare daily MIS reports and share updates with the reporting manager
  • Prepare weekly and monthly consolidated reports and present insights to management
  • Work closely with the Business Lead / Business Head to support ongoing business requirements and priorities


Skills & Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills (mandatory)
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask, follow SOPs, and work in a process-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Basic understanding or prior experience with CRM systems is preferred
  • Customer-friendly attitude with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple internal teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate or Diploma holder (any stream)
  • Prior experience in customer support, coordination, inside sales, or CRM-based roles is an added advantage
