Kitchen Assistant – Roles & Responsibilities

• Must be highly organized, punctual, and dependable in carrying out daily responsibilities.
• Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance while representing the brand positively at all times.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across all food preparation, service, and storage areas.
• Be comfortable performing a wide range of operational tasks including assisting with the cash counter and billing, supporting kitchen operations, cooking, managing rush hours, handling customers when required, and maintaining overall store cleanliness.
• Wash utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment efficiently, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored appropriately.
• Sort, store, and distribute food ingredients in accordance with company guidelines and food safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation of food items, including washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, cooking, and assembling ingredients and dishes as per standard procedures.
• Ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste and garbage in compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Regularly clean kitchen equipment, tools, work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Understand and strictly adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members and contribute positively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, follow instructions carefully, and adapt to operational requirements.
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries and inventory when required.
• Be capable of independently managing store responsibilities when required, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Display patience, teamwork, and a strong sense of accountability in all assigned duties.
• Show willingness to learn, improve skills, and grow within the organization.
