Production Engineer

We are a newly established shaft manufacturing unit looking for an experienced Production Engineer to independently manage shop floor operations, machine uptime, production quality, and output targets.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and manage daily production schedules for shaft manufacturing

* Operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC lathes, cylindrical grinders, centerless grinders, and cutting machines

* Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawing specs (GD&T)

* Implement and maintain quality checks at every stage (incoming, in-process, final)

* Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of all machines; coordinate with AMC vendors

* Train and supervise machine operators

* Reduce rejection rates and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

* Maintain production records, rejection logs, and machine maintenance logs

Requirements:

* Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

* 5–10 years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining / shaft / auto-component manufacturing setup

* Strong knowledge of CNC turning, grinding (cylindrical + centerless), and cutting operations

* Experience with measuring instruments: micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, surface roughness testers

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience managing a team of 10–30 operators

* Exposure to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems is a plus

ज़िम्मेदारियाँ:

• शाफ्ट मैन्युफैक्चरिंग के लिए रोज़ाना के प्रोडक्शन शेड्यूल की प्लानिंग और मैनेजमेंट करना
• CNC लेथ, सिलिंड्रिकल ग्राइंडर, सेंटरलेस ग्राइंडर और कटिंग मशीनों को ऑपरेट, सेटअप और ट्रबलशूट करना
• ड्रॉइंग स्पेसिफिकेशन (GD&T) के अनुसार डायमेंशनल एक्यूरेसी और सरफेस फिनिश सुनिश्चित करना
• हर स्टेज पर क्वालिटी चेक लागू करना और बनाए रखना (इनकमिंग, इन-प्रोसेस, फाइनल)
• सभी मशीनों की प्रिवेंटिव और ब्रेकडाउन मेंटेनेंस संभालना; AMC वेंडर्स के साथ कोऑर्डिनेट करना
• मशीन ऑपरेटर्स को ट्रेनिंग देना और सुपरवाइज़ करना
• रिजेक्शन रेट कम करना और OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) में सुधार करना
• प्रोडक्शन रिकॉर्ड्स, रिजेक्शन लॉग्स और मशीन मेंटेनेंस लॉग्स को मेंटेन करना

योग्यता:

• मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा / B.E.
• CNC मशीनिंग / शाफ्ट / ऑटो-कंपोनेंट मैन्युफैक्चरिंग सेटअप में 5–10 साल का हैंड्स-ऑन अनुभव
• CNC टर्निंग, ग्राइंडिंग (सिलिंड्रिकल + सेंटरलेस) और कटिंग ऑपरेशन्स की मज़बूत जानकारी
• मापने के उपकरणों का अनुभव: माइक्रोमीटर, बोर गेज, डायल इंडिकेटर, सरफेस रफनेस टेस्टर
• इंजीनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग पढ़ने और समझने की क्षमता
• 10–30 ऑपरेटर्स की टीम मैनेज करने का अनुभव
• ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 क्वालिटी सिस्टम का अनुभव हो तो अतिरिक्त लाभ होगा
