We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead and contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for diverse MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional projects. This position requires a strong technical foundation, leadership abilities, and the capability to manage projects from conception through completion.

1. Key Responsibilities:Design & Engineering:

• Develop detailed electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (such as NEC, IEC, and local regulations), and project specifications.
• Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop assessments.

• Lead the electrical design aspects of MEP projects, coordinating with mechanical and plumbing teams.
• Manage project schedules and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights on electrical systems and design solutions.

1. Documentation & Quality Assurance:

• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical reports using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
• Conduct design reviews, quality checks, and value engineering to optimize solutions.

• Support construction teams during installation, commissioning, and testing phases.
• Address RFIs (Request for Information) and resolve technical issues on-site as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong focus on MEP projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.

Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in electrical design tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and ETAP.
• Familiarity with simulation and analysis software (e.g., Dialux for lighting design).
• In-depth knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
