Job Description

Position Summary

The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Super Donuts outlet and ensuring smooth coordination between the front-of-house and kitchen teams. The role involves supervising kitchen team members, maintaining product quality and hygiene standards, managing customer service, and ensuring that the store operates efficiently, especially during peak hours. The Store Supervisor is expected to lead by example, uphold the brand’s service standards, and ensure a positive experience for customers while maintaining operational discipline within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Supervision

  • Supervise the daily operations of the outlet and ensure smooth workflow across kitchen and service areas.
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team members and other staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
  • Ensure the store is well-prepared for operational hours, including readiness of equipment, ingredients, and service counters.
  • Take ownership of the store during shifts and ensure that all activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Team Management

  • Guide, train, and support kitchen team members in food preparation, hygiene standards, and operational procedures.
  • Allocate tasks among team members and monitor their performance during the shift.
  • Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among all team members.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff members and ensure they understand the company’s processes and expectations.

Customer Service

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently delivered.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
  • Support the team during peak hours by assisting at the counter, billing, or service areas when required.

Quality, Hygiene & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across the store.
  • Regularly monitor kitchen and service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all food products are prepared and served according to the brand’s quality standards.

Inventory & Store Management

  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies, and inform management about replenishment requirements.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries and maintaining proper storage practices.
  • Ensure minimal wastage and proper utilization of ingredients.

Cash & Billing Supervision

  • Oversee billing operations and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
  • Support the team in managing the cash counter during busy hours and ensure proper closing procedures are followed.

Store Maintenance

  • Ensure the outlet remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Supervise the cleaning of kitchen equipment, counters, floors, and storage areas.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced QSR environment.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and accountability.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to multitask and handle operational pressure during peak hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a QSR, café, or food service environment is preferred.
  • Experience in team supervision or shift management will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates who are proactive, organized, and willing to grow with the brand will be preferred.
