Job Description

Job Summary: The Tele Counsellor will be responsible for handling inquiries from prospective students, guiding them about study opportunities abroad, and ensuring regular follow-ups to convert leads into successful admissions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Calling Prospective Students:

  • Initiate outbound calls to students interested in studying abroad.
  • Provide detailed information on courses, universities, admission processes, and scholarships.
  • Answer students' queries promptly and professionally.
  1. Lead Follow-Up and Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with students at different stages of the admission process.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
  1. Lead Generation:

  • Identify potential leads through outbound calling, social media, and referral networks.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to gather quality leads from campaigns and events.
  1. Promotional Material Distribution:

  • Share brochures, flyers, emails, and other promotional content with prospective students.
  • Provide up-to-date information on university events, application deadlines, and scholarships.
  1. Lead Conversion:

  • Counsel students to understand their educational needs and guide them in making informed decisions.
  • Assist students in completing application forms and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Work towards achieving individual and team targets for lead conversion.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (preferably in Business, Education, or Communication).
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role in the overseas education industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
