Mechanical Supervisor

We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and vehicles, including excavators, Poclain machines, and other heavy-duty construction equipment. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, managing breakdowns, coordinating repairs, and ensuring minimum downtime of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all mechanical repair and maintenance activities on site.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns in heavy machinery and vehicles.
• Coordinate with operators and mechanics for timely fault rectification.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of repairs, parts used, and service history.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and raise requirements on time.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with site standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in handling heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and diesel engine systems.
• Ability to lead a team of technicians and coordinate with site management.
