Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth across assigned territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, generating leads, managing a sales team, and building a strong distributor/channel partner network.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales performance in the assigned territory
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Lead generation through field activities, networking, and market research
- Identify new business opportunities and convert them into revenue
- Build, manage, and expand distributor/channel partner network
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key clients
- Handle and mentor the sales team, ensuring productivity and performance
- Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback
- Ensure effective coverage of territory and market penetration
- Track competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, marketing, accounts) for smooth execution
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to company policies
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in B2B / SMB sales, preferably in Solar, construction, structural, or related industries
- Strong understanding of territory management and channel sales
- Demonstrated ability in team handling and leadership
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
Preferred Skills
- Experience in dealer/distributor network expansion
- Strong local market knowledge
- CRM tools and sales tracking experience
