Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth across assigned territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, generating leads, managing a sales team, and building a strong distributor/channel partner network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive sales performance in the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Lead generation through field activities, networking, and market research
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert them into revenue
  • Build, manage, and expand distributor/channel partner network
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key clients
  • Handle and mentor the sales team, ensuring productivity and performance
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback
  • Ensure effective coverage of territory and market penetration
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, marketing, accounts) for smooth execution
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to company policies


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in B2B / SMB sales, preferably in Solar, construction, structural, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of territory management and channel sales
  • Demonstrated ability in team handling and leadership
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in dealer/distributor network expansion
  • Strong local market knowledge
  • CRM tools and sales tracking experience
