Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Summary:

The Relationship Officer will be responsible for driving life insurance sales by engaging with prospective customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable insurance solutions. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring high-quality business through effective lead management and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned sales targets for life insurance products.

• Engage with prospective customers to understand their financial and protection needs.

• Recommend suitable life insurance products through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term engagement and policy renewals.

• Effectively utilize company-provided leads and generate additional business through local market networking.

• Maintain accurate customer information and update internal systems regularly.

• Achieve weekly goal sheet targets and actively participate in sales campaigns and contests.

• Ensure quality business by maintaining good product mix, policy persistency, and strong lead conversion ratios.

• Adhere to company policies, compliance guidelines, and operational standards.

Eligibility / Requirements:

Graduate in any discipline

Prior experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services sales is preferred.

Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Good network in the local market.

Target-oriented with a strong customer focus.
