CAE Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform midsurface extraction and meshing for plastic and sheet metal automotive components.
• Execute tetra and hexa meshing for casting components with proper mesh flow and element quality.
• Carry out mesh flow correction and mesh quality improvement to meet project standards.
• Assign material thickness and ensure consistency across the FE model.
• Validate and maintain FE model accuracy according to design and analysis requirements.
• Collaborate with design and analysis teams to ensure proper CAD to CAE model conversion.
• Follow modeling guidelines and contribute to best practices in preprocessing activities.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of Strength of Materials and Engineering Fundamentals.
• Proficiency in ANSA and/or HyperMesh for meshing and model preparation.
• Good understanding of FEA concepts, element types, and connections.
• Attention to detail, quality-oriented approach, and good problem-solving skills.
